The Rogue is now available with optional third-row seating.
Engine is unchanged, a 2.5L four cylinder displacing 170hp @ 6000 rpm and 175 lb-ft torque at 4400 rpm. AWD model consumption is rated at 7.7 L/100km highway and 9.6 L/100km in the city. (33/26 mpg)

Here are some reviews:

"Review of the 2014 Nissan Rogue

Riding on a new platform, the 2014 Nissan Rogue promises increased cabin and cargo space, updated technology and optional third-row seating, but a V6 still isn't on the options list.
PROS:
New platform should make it ride as smooth or better than predecessor; increased cabin and cargo room; high-quality interior; new front seats promise even better comfort.
CONS:
Continuously variable transmission carries over, likely accompanied by its irritating engine drone; lacks optional V6 engine.
What's New for 2014
The 2014 Nissan Rogue gets a new look, upgraded cabin materials and features, and an optional third-row."

Autotrader.com review of the 2014 Nissan Rogue writes:
"It's easy to say the latest Nissan Rogue is in the running for our favorite compact crossover, but that doesn't mean it's perfect. In an effort to achieve class-leading gas mileage, Nissan has dulled its performance a little too much for our tastes. We think the Rogue would be well-served with a more muscular engine option, similarly to the Ford Escape and Kia"

For comparison, the 2014 Nissan Rogue AWD will cost you $27128 in Canada with destination charge excluding taxes.
The 2014 Toyota RAV4 AWD (2.5L) will set you back $27910 with destination charge excluding taxes.
The 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i at $27760 with either a 6spd manual or CVT (optional charge) $29060 with destination charge excluding taxes.
The 2014 Hyundai Tuscon/Kia Sportage GLS AWD (basically same vehicle) comes in at $28788 with destination charge excluding taxes.
The 2014 Honda CRV AWD tops out at over $30000 Canadian and is thus not included.
The 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD also tops out over $30000.

2014 Toyota RAV4 AWD 176 hp @ 6000rpm, 172 lb-ft torque @ 4100 rpm -- 6.8 L/100km highway / 9.1 L/100km in the city (42/31 mpg)
2014 Subaru Forester AWD 170 hp @ 5800rpm, 174 lb-ft torque @ 4100 rpm -- 6.3 L/100km highway / 8.3 L/100km in the city ( 45/34 mpg) CVT transmission.
2014 Hyundai Tuscon/Kia Sportage AWD (2.4L) 182 hp @ 6000 rpm, 177 lb-ft torque @ 4000 rpm -- 7.8 L/100km highway / 10.2 L/100km in the city

All of these SUV are good choices, some get better gas consumption, some more options, others hold their value better, while others may save you some money. It all depends on your taste in design and needs. Many times auto makers and dealers will offer special insentives to sway the buyer in their direction. Rebates, winter tires and 0% financing/leasing are often used.
