Similar four door hatchback design to the Spark. Staring at $12,995 it comes with a 1.2L four cylinder engine that delivers 74 hp @ 6000 rpm and gets 34 city / 42 highway mpg.

Cons: "Skittish highway ride; sluggish performance"

3. 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan
The only four door sedan under $13,000 starting at $11,990. It has the largest engine of the group at 1.6L, delivering 109 hp @ 6000 rpm and 27 city / 36 highway mpg.
