This seventh generation Golf GTI will be equipped with a 2.0L direct injection turbo engine producing 210 HP @ 4500 rpm and 258 lb-ft torque @ 1500 rpm.
Transmission choices will be either a 6 speed manual or 6 speed dual-clutch automatic.
0-60 mph (0-100 kph) numbers will be around 6 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph (240 kph).
Base price will start at around $25,000 US, and the GTI will come in either a 3 door or 5 door option.
