TESLA motors -- A preview into the future of the modern car -- Electric

The Tesla Model S - Good Looks, environmentally friendly (zero emissions), beautiful and roomy interior, sounds like the perfect vehicle right. Well almost except for it's price tag, starting at $70,000 US minus any tax credits depending on you location. ($79,000 Canadian, around 52,000 Euros + applicable tax)
No more gasoline bills, but higher electricity bill

Don't get me wrong this is no Nissan Leaf, what you get here is a ratter sharp looking performance sports sedan (hatch). With a 0-60 mph time of 5.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 5.6 s) and a top speed of 125 mph (200 km/h) one would most likely compare it to a BMW 5 series. The only drawback is the cruising range of 208 miles (370 km) before needing a recharge. Higher end Model S have better performance of 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.4 s) as well as longer cruising range of 265 miles (480 km) and a top speed of 130 mph (210 km/h) but do cost more.
All versions ride on air suspension, as the vehicles speed increases the vehicle is lowered for better aerodynamics. The air suspension can also be manually adjusted by the driver through the on-board touchscreen.
The Tesla Model S can be fully charged in a little over one hour with the Tesla supercharger. Otherwise around 1 hour of charging for 100 km (62 miles) of driving.
Now at $70,000 US you do get a fairly fully equipped vehicle, to date there is nothing else out there like it.

There is one added bonus for those who have children, there are two additional seats which fold up from the bottom of the trunk. Very bright idea to make full use of the extra large boot in the back. You can see this and other cool features not available in most luxury vehicles today.
