Safest Cars

According to IIHS the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (US) size does NOT matter. We all remember our fathers telling us; get the bigger car it's safer.
I have provided a list of the three most popular Canadian automobile categories below.
At the bottom are links to IIHS, there you may find the safety information of other 2013 production vehicle classes.
The second link at the bottom of the page is for previous years of production vehicles. I have chosen the Honda Fit as an example, you may also change the vehicle from the pull down menu at the top of the page in the blue area.
